Can tell from your work bench you're a newbie.

No, I don't think he is. Likely he is a returning modeler. This some very clean work. I'm really enjoying this build of one of my favorite kits. Keep it going Steven.

Jantrix, you are correct. I used to model as a young teen and then took a break when I found 1:1 cars and girls were something I was interested to at the time! LOL! As far as the style, I am going for a traditional hot rod style.

I have the same kit on my bench,I too de-chromed the suspension and painted it the same color!!!!,the color just seems to go so well with the body, I like the firewall fit and finish, something I wish I had done.....I am for sure gonna watch this one.

Thanks for looking and to those who have been following this build I appreciate the comments. I have been dealing with kidney stones for the last two weeks so I have not done as much as I would like, but I am in the home stretch. Then I have to decide what to build next :D

Just waiting on the grille to dry then assemble it and this rod will be in the under the glass section this afternoon. Keep your eyes peeled!

It's finally finished! Here is a quick pic. Head over to the Under the Glass section to see more of the final shots. Thanks everyone for following.
