Here's my latest - a custom '59 Chevy finished in HOK magenta kandy. This is the first time I've tried water spots and I like how it came out. Many thanks to Fatkidd for telling/showing me how to do them.

Interior was cut apart so buckets could go in front & back along with a console.

Maybe (finally) some decent engine pics. That's a Fatkidd 2nd generation distributor.

And here's the water spots.

I couldn't resist this pic. I drilled through the fin and into the fender for the sunken antennas.

Thank you, Doobie. You wouldn't believe how easy the water spots are. I used the Fatkidd method. I'm not sure if he like that I gave any secrets out, but basically mask off an area, squirt water on the area, shoot some color from a low angle. I think it looks pretty cool.

Very nice build Jim. You did an excellent job on the water spots, some of the best I've seen. I'm not a fan of pink but that color is beautiful. I'm also lovin them antannas, that was a nice touch.

Nice lookin' build Jim. Be careful with that water though, it can cause RUST ! :P

I'm still laughing! That antenna is very popular and I love it too! Nice paint work, congrats on a beautiful custom.

Now THAT IS COOL ! That's a very nice technique that would be easy to overdo, but you displayed perfectly suitable restraint. I love the creative touch with the antennas also.

Wow! Your builds are getting trickier each time out! Wild interior & l love the Magenta, it really sends this one over the top! l'd like to try water bourne(?) flames sometime. ls it the same basic process? The antennas rock! Very creative touch. I really like the diversity of your builds. Never "stuck" in one genre. Except the SHINY of course, but that's cool! Bart.

It's magenta, Jason. I thought the color would stand out more for a custom. Glad you like the water spots.

Thank you, Sam. I must have seen antennas done that way before somewhere and liked the idea.
