jeffs396 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 (edited) It's about time someone did a proper boattail Riviera! Hopefully someone will snag a pic at the Toledo NNL this weekend, Don's always there! Edited October 6, 2012 by jeffs396
lizardlust Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Gee - guess that means that my misshapen, warped R&R Riviera abomination is now obsolete - I couldn't be happier, though!!!!
Rob Hall Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 The Riv will be nice to have...I have the AAM '71, never built it. The '72 is slightly different (grille, side trim), but very similar.
Dominik Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 i saw it in the other thread and just dreamin about to have / get one... wonder, why no one else from the "big ones" made it years ago?!?

Tonioseven Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 That's gonna be my Christmas present to me; FROM me.
Tonioseven Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Maybe it's just me but the roof looks a bit "off". [i used to own one] Looks like it's a bit too long. I'm wondering if everyone is using an AMT '76 Caprice for the windshield ,, that might explain it. The regular full-size GM car's windshield didn't lean back as much as it did on the Rivs [Toros and Eldos too] That would give you a roof that's slightly too long. OR, maybe it's just the angle the pics were taken at making it look that way. OR, it may have been because the roof of my Riv had the vinyl on the front 3/4 ,, that might have made it look shorter ?? Anyway, nice to see one that at least looks pretty good. It is off slightly. Look at pictures of a 1:1. The angle of the roof should match the angle of the rear bodyline. It appears that the problem could be solved by adding material to the front pillars. I'm STILL gonna get ont though!! I can live with it!!
mikemodeler Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Great quality stuff, but pricey. Corey That is the problem with The Modelhaus stuff Corey- it is pricey but the quality is outstanding! Remember- you get what you pay for!
