Piero Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 Well, I've taken some photos of the truck outside. Not the diorama, just the truck and a fence, because I live in an appartment at the 2nd floor and it's difficult to bring the dio outside. But, patience, my home is almost built !
Chuck Most Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 As a guy who knows weathered C-Series trucks (and knows them well), I'd say you nailed the look. Very nicely done!
Piero Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 Thanks to all ! I notify that is my first big truck junker... my biggest junker before was a Chevy truck
Dominik Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 I like this alot. It certainly looks like its had a hard life. If you try and get some photo's outside in natural light the diorama would look real. Great work. Dave ...i agree and the outside pictures are perfect! I like it - well done!
Mr mopar Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Nice work ...looks real good ,AMT is reiussuing this kit but with a van box.
kilrathy10 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Very nice work...Excellent weathering...Some of the best I've seen...
Swamp Dog Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 that is one fine weathering job..the only thing that u may wont to go back and do is ..remove the chrome on the rims and on fuel tanks.they are just a little to shinny...but its still a very fine build...
Casey Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 I love this shot. I don't even think the fence is need for scale since the truck blocks out the base of the tree behind it. You did some beautiful work on this one Pierre, and the look of the blistered paint has that "we painted it with house paint" look.
Piero Posted November 9, 2013 Author Posted November 9, 2013 You can see my truck in the new book of Dr Cranky, International House Of Plastic vol. II
tbill Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 excellent build, even the junk in the back looks real. very well done!
