Don Garlit`s SWAMP RAT 1-R dragster

This is the first New Era rear engine dragster built by Don. Garlits got accustomed in a dozen runs the new car only the lack of sound took longer.

The model is built from an AMT kit. Some cables and plumbing added. Little accident happened on rear wing: I tryed to wipe the fingerprints from chrom but the chrom began to disappear ! So I painted color strips on the damaged area
