I'm breaking my silence with this one...

After trying to build a model in a month for the Gearz contest, I got burnt out. Suddenly I got inspired to work on this, which was sitting in my stash.

I'm really trying to pay attention to details on this one, I want it to turn out nice...

^That's my first true wiring job. Really glad with how it came out :)

I'm going to detail the chassis with parking brake cables, fuel lines, etc., but I can't really find much info on it. So I guess I'll keep searching

Thanks for looking!

Looking Good, Andy! B) I'm sure this one will turn out very nice, the engine looks fantastic already and I do like the chassis too. Keep it coming, I'll be following for sure. Just remember to paint those Gas Tank "Brackets" with different shade of silver, they give nice detailed touch to the chassis too. ;) ;)

Thanks everyone :)

Niko, I remembered the gas tank straps, the Metalizer paint was still wet when I shot the pic so I couldn't paint them then. Today I'll try to buff the gas tank a little bit and try to get it looking nicer :)

wondering what happened after you bagged all those Gearz prizes! Glad to see you back at it, this should be as nice or nicer than the 69 Z-28!

Thanks Jim and Mike!

Small update, got the body in primer. Got a few imperfections to work out still, but it'll be ready for paint soon. I'm going with some Chevy Orange engine paint for the whole car.

Thanks Bill!

So I'm working on the interior and getting some small details on:

Note the power steering hoses and the excessive toe angle....

I gotta say, this is some of the most fun I've had building a model. I used to hate detailing but it doesn't seem as boring once you get the hang of it.

That looks very good! Your engine details look very nice, and it's true-Detailing is not as horrible as it feels first. And it makes the model look much better.

Picture of the painted body! Once it gases out for a couple days I'll wetsand all the orange peel out of it. Too bad it doesn't show up well in the particular lighting I'm using.

I'm on a roll now, and nobody can stop me!!!
