Pat Cardz Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Here's a project I lost interest in about a year ago after the body was painted Charcoal by Duplicolor. Couple weeks ago got the idea to do a 500 version instead of my original idea of a Street Machine. Its AMT's General Lee body bashed with the 71 Charger with some added parts box items. Its not even close to accurate but its better than sitting in the box.
Matt T. Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 I like it! Great engine bay detailing. ...but its better than sitting in the box. Amen to that. Build 'em!
my name is nobody Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Nice looking model! The Kelsey Hayes 'recall' wheels look terrific on that kit. Great Job on that kit.
lizardlust Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Great looking model - it certainly conceals its "Dukes" ancestry very well! I noticed you added the 68 round side marker lights - maybe it could be a phantom "lost prototype" sister car to the red one?? Neat model!!!
1320wayne Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Good job. Nice detail on the engine. The recall wheels are also a nice touch.
VW Dave Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Good save and a clean build.....accurate or not, I like it.
kelson Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 even though it's a"PHANTOM"I like it alot!. great build.!
Fisher61 Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Very nice job Pat! You turned that crappy kit into something special, Looks like a million bucks!
ramonesblues Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Sometimes being accurate is over rated. Great looking car, and your detailing is super nice.
