1/12 Ford GT40 #5 LeMans -66

Hi

This is Trumpeters kit with decals from BBK, this version finished third in LeMans -66.

Also the spare tire is from BBK.

I have made some modifications during the build, it´s detailed with mostly etched parts,rivets around the headlights, hoses ,connections

and such things. The dymo labels on the dash is made by me in the computer.

There are some improvments to be made but I still think it´s a very nice kit.

I'm afraid I can't make any sensible comments just yet. There's a lot to take in here. Man, you are one brave modeler to take that on. I've got to go now and study these pictures more closely.

nicely done, but I have one question, it looks like the shroud and the carb are one piece, how did you connect the fuel line fittings?

Hi and thanks all of you! I´m very glad you liked my GT 40 :-)

Regarding the carb it´s built up with four pieces, the fittings is connected as told in the manual and from refs. the blue/red parts are extra stuff.

I hope I understood your question because my English regarding the technical things is not the best .
