Israel used the British Centurian tank for decades, modifying it to meet their needs. By 1973 and the Yom Kippur War, they had an American diesel engine installed.

The crew is a resin aftermarket set that I super detailed a bit with mikes and cords made from 28 ga wire. All the paint is MM Acryl, weathered with oils. I'm planning a rocky desert base for this, so stay tuned.

Do it Brian, you won't be disappointed. This was a great kit to build.

I also used AFV Club's aftermarket tracks, mantlet cover, and PE mesh set for the turret rack. It's ashame those aren't included in the kit, but it really doesn't matter. The tracks are so cool, they snap together. No glue, no fuss, no muss. Click and paint.

I plan on building the '67 war S'hot soon.

I do really need to before they go way up in price, right now you can still find them for a round $40 plus shipping. I remember that one version had a metal barrel and some other goodies in it, I had it bookmarked on ebay but they finally sold them all and now the listing is gone.

Squadron and Sprue Brothers both have them at about $45.00. I highly reccommend the AFV tracks which, unfortunately, add another $20 or so. The best part is the vinyl mantlet cover is only about $4. The Shot Kal has a metal barrel with a plastic fume extractor. The fit was flawless, as you can see.

Lucky Model has the tracks and mantlet cover REAL CHEAP but postage is a bear.

That'll look really great with NV Highway Patrol markings!

;)

Yuppers!

I'm thinking about building one with a silver turret, blue hull, and the NHP markings. It will fit right in with this one.

Well..yes and no. I apparently have a batch of the old Alclad that was bad and just won't completely dry. But it came out ...just ok... I'll post a couple of pics here...
