really simple easy to build kit, but thats just not my style to leave a car stock

first thing was wheels

then i realized they both look good so im going to make the wheels removeable after i update them

paint is tamiya flat black wheel is aclad magnesium both cleared with vallejo flat clear.

next was the engine found out the 1:1 is just as simple

did my best and cleaning the seams still have to drill it out for wiring

heres how it sits i opened the grill to run a more updated mesh grill, i CA'd the body together and sanded it the cowl needs some work but its ready for paint im gonna go with testors metalflake red and silver scallops.

Interesting. I like it. These old Indy roadsters have some great swoopy lines. I've been using the noses from these for some track-nose builds for quite a while, and was thinking of how to do a two-passenger version of this as a hot-rod. Looking good.

Lo-Lo, you about a creative ol rascal aint'cha? Looks good, personally i think the chrome wheels and low pro tires would look killer with that color, but it's your model. It's gonna be really cool, regardless of what wheels it's runnin!

my worst nightmare testors on testors violence. it was some light crazing all over the body i managed to work some of it out but not before hitting a 9

since that episode ive decided to use Vallejo flat clear as a barrier for ALL my paintjobs, it worked great as a barrier primer for red bodies and it did great on another build before this.

Frank thanks for the pic of the kit. I thought it was that one after seeing it on ebay. Love this so far. I also like the lo-pro wheels but it looks great no matter what you decide. Nice save on the paint too!
