Roadkill2525 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 hey mike: i thought that was the same version cappachino i remembered you buying, i picked one of them up today but had to spend more than you on it anyway i think its a sharp little car. i want to find that honda beat youre ordering too. I got the Beat from www.hwjapan.com i want to do a similar diorama to this one i did a while ago, only using modern mini cars instead of vintage ones: What's the blue and white car? The yellow one is a Honda S800 and the black and orange is a Subaru 360, right?
LVZ2881 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Michael, the blue and white car is a Toyota..I dont remember what model, but I did see it on the Hobby Search Japan website last night when I was placing my $150+ order... and that Honda Beat looks pretty cool, too.. I have spent WAY too much money on models the last few weeks...over $250 just from HLJ and HSJ...... that Honda S800 kit in both racing and street trim will be some of my next purchases..
B_rad88 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 hey el destructo inc, your right with the two cars and the white/blue one is an early 60's toyota sports 800!
jbwelda Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 yes toyota S800 from fujimi in race trim. full engine detail as well. very nice kit of a very cool car. a friend of mine has two of the real thing in a barn and the kit is pretty darn accurate as for small details. all three of those cars have pilot figures fitted, that was some major body surgery there.

FujimiLover Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 After dropping off my Dad at the airport in Denver, I went to a fantastic hobby shop, one I've been going to for over 15 years, Colpar Hobbies on Havana Street, and I picked up the 6th Koenig Specials model from Fujimi. The Mercedes 500 SL BlackStar. BlackStar is just a name they gave for their black cars. Mine will be painted light gun-metal gray and a brown leather-look interior. Still waiting for arrival from Japan my Koenig Diablo and Koenig 911. Then, all I'll need left is the KS 928!
