High octane Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 It's lookin' good so far Kerry, keep up the good work.
CorvairJim Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 The '50 Olds has just gone from "well, maybe some day" to "Gotta get it!" I hadn't thought about this transformation, but I've always liked the 40's-50's GM fastbacks. I'll be following this one!
BKcustoms Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 (edited) Nice start, I'm about halfway through doing the same thing to my olds. I'm really interested to see how yours turns out! Edited November 20, 2012 by BKcustoms
DrKerry Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 Thanks everyone. I want to do one of the fast back style chopped but I want to get this one done first. I have a friend that wants to cast both of my 50's so I may wait and chop the resin copy of this one. Who knows..
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 The flow of the rear roofline looks very good on this one, better than some other starts I've seen. This is going to be a bugger to get dialed in methinks, which is why I haven't started mine yet. I think your decision to avoid getting into the door cut-lines was a good one. Nice project. What's the rest of the plan for her?
DrKerry Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 This one I'll probably go more of a stock look on it, even though stock isn't in my vocabulary a lot. When it gets copied in resin I'll go for more of a chopped kustom look on that one. I know my friend wants this one to cast and put out on the market so I can't really chop this one up much....
DrKerry Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 Koolsville!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Duntov Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Nice work so far.... keep it moving.... I iwill be interested to see how it evolves!!!
