Scottnkat Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 I was able to finish the Little Red Wagon. Here's some pics: Yes, the doors do open: And here she is doing a wheelstand
Bartster Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Very authentic. You've captured one of my favorite childhood memories (& kits) perfectly ! Nice job on the doors! Most folks lose patience & glue them shut, lol ! I went a completely different direction on my latest attempt. Hope to see more from your bench soon.
bbowser Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Nice job, an iconic racer from another era. This kit is tough to get together and you did a great job, very clean.
James2 Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 That's a great subject and nice clean build. Thanks for posting.
Scottnkat Posted December 8, 2012 Author Posted December 8, 2012 thanks for the comments, everyone - I'm glad y'all liked it

Scottnkat Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 thanks, guys Francis, the paint it lacquer nail polish thinned down with lacquer thinner
rmvw guy Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Nice job! This is the first one I've seen built as the Little Red Wagon. Thanks for sharing.
Scottnkat Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 Thanks, Ron and Edgar. I'd wanted this model since I was a kid. It took me a while, but I finally built it and I'm happy with how it came out.
bogger44 Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Very nice build, probably the best I've seen of this kit. I've got one lurking in the stash that I've opened up the box and looked at the parts numerous times, pondered and mumbled "ehhh", and toss it back into the pile. Someday.....
Scottnkat Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 Thanks, Tony. I'm glad you like it. Hopefully, "someday" will come soon for ya.
High octane Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Nice build on the LRW as I have couple of those kits that I bought to use for parts. I'm going to see the real LRW again at this couples garage in a couple of weeks from today. They also own the Chi-Town Hustler and the Hawaiian funny cars as well as a couple of the S & M cars too.
Scottnkat Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 That's cool, Nick. Thanks for sharing
