drodg Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 His decals are excellent. He has renewed the model car business by offering decals we never had on kits!
Alan Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Is he still in business and has anyone had any recent contact ? What is his contact info ? Thanks
Teds57 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 yup Keith is still doing his decals you can reach him by email at mofobow@hotmail.com and make sure you put Decals in the header for the email
vamach1 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I got some Cobra decals from him a week ago. He's in Canada. His stuff is 1st rate.
Mr mopar Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 And it only took a week to get! Mark's decals are some of the best I have see in a long time.
Young iron Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 He makes great stuff. Yet, if you plan to clearcoat it, be careful. His decals don't like clearcoat, bur they stick enough naturally. Very nice !
vamach1 Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Does he have a website? http://public.fotki.com/mofobow/

1972coronet Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 After numerous ill-fated attempts at replicating the upholstery for the 1976 Dart Sport "Spirit of '76" (I tried fine-line Sharpie , tedious painting , etc. , etc.) , I'm going to do what I should have in the first place : buy the decal set from Keith !

I never had a problem with clearcoating any of his decals. This T/A has several coats of Duplicolor laquer clear on it. I've done several cars with it.
Drake69 Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) Exactly.... You want to clearcoat them so that they will seal up and last a long time. If you have decals that screw up after putting on a clearcoat, then you need to wait longer to allow them to dry before putting it on. Edited April 27, 2015 by Drake69
freakshow12 Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Not to start a great debate but... If building a factory stock muscle car I never clear over the decals! The 1:1s were never done that way and to me it ruins the look of the finished car.

Even if you only clear them before cutting and using then it's good to have them protected from handling mishaps. Yes, this will make them glossier but very few factory decals were dead flat like ALPS decals come as printed anyway.
Young iron Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Here in Europe, we don't have the same products as in America. We have to do with.
