I started building models when I was a kid, and this car was always my "Holy Grail". Now that I'm back into modelling, I got my hands a kit and wanted to make it something special, so I put together a little circuit with some LEDs to light up the headlights and tail lights. I was able to cut out the trunk and hide a 9v battery in there to power it all. Sadly, there's no on/off switch - you just plug in the battery and away she goes!

Very cool idea! Another thing I noticed about these kits is the trim that goes below the trunklid (joins the two smaller ends by the tail light bezels) is not included in the kit. I BMF'd mine to join the two ends.

Can't believe I didn't notice that in my ref pics. I just checked again and you're right. I think I'll need to rectify that. I also haven't attached the license plate yet, since the one in the kit doesn't have Christine's plate, so I need to find some time to make my own.
