Jantrix Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Or we could talk to the devs and get their input on the best way to configure the poll.

slantasaurus Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I'll volunteer to be a biased judge........I can be bought. PM me for an address where you can send me kits or my Pay Pal info for bribes.
hacked Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 hi Guys, got a bit done in the last few days, cut out off the spare wheel well and tank, made a new one and found some mufflers, next up fill the tailpipe hole and start filling some interior bits, cheers Jeff

Austin T Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Been working like crazy for school, had 4 projects and 3 papers due in the last month so progress has been minimal.Just posting to say I'm alive.
zenrat Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 The unbiased judges comes into play in the event of a tie, that it all. Nick Coin toss would do as well, but OK. However, I think Jant has a point. This being a nice friendly helpful place where they will bend over backwards to keep us happy (unlike where we came from) maybe a politely worded request to the right person at the appropriate time could get the number of poll options raised?
JM485 Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Here is some progress on my Viper. Got the engine done, is all box stock except I added some spark plug wires coming from the coil packs. Technicaly the coil covers should be red, but i thought they would look pretty cool with carbon fiber on them. I'm hoping to add a few more hoses once the motor is installed. Hope you guys like what you see so far.
maltsr Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Looks good Josh - what did you use for plug boots?
TFchronos Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Yep, lookin good, and ditto on Paul's question, I'm curious too. To me it looks like the rubber coating from some electrical wire.
JM485 Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Looks good Josh - what did you use for plug boots? Thanks guys! The plug boots are just some left over rubber tubing from when I built the 1/16 General Lee, and I thought it looked decent enough as 1/24 plug boots.
SuperStockAndy Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Welp, I think I'm gonna withdraw from this before I've even started I just simply don't have the time to build anymore
Lunajammer Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Bummer Andy. I've been feeling the pinch lately too, almost 4 weeks since I've modeled. But there's a lot of year left.
Janthlie Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Been working on the engine lately and this is what I got Made the intake, plenum chamber, fuel rail, fule pressure gauge etc. Inside the garage, up on the lift. And this is an early mock up of the stance and overall look, Needs a ton of bodywork...
Lunajammer Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Wow Jan, that looks absolutely brutal. It screams power and aggression. Nice work on the pro-chargers. I wanted to do the same on mine but I don't have the skills or knowledge to make it convincing.
64SS350 Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 While I'm waiting for warmer weather to clear the Pantera, decided to start my second build, straightened the body and chassis..
TFchronos Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 (edited) Jan, that thing is looking killer, shaping up to be one of the more fearsome builds, hope to see it at the starting line. As for myself I'm working on my cars, well I haven't started on the GTX yet but I'm working on the hot rod, I should have something to show in a few days. Nick, could you please get me on the entry list? I just noticed I'm not there yet, my enties are a 32 Ford Sedan and a 67 Plymouth GTX. Edited February 24, 2013 by TFchronos
Dragfreak Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 been a while since i've posted some updates but it got some cage work done, finished the tinwork, and figured out what ill be doing for the engine. and i got the nasty gap filled and im not shure what ill do for the carb but it will either be a air cleaner, velocity stack, or an air pan air pan
Dragfreak Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 (edited) i got the holes from where the exhaust ended in the rear valence i think its called? anyways i also got the pin holes in the bottom of the hood filled, and filling gaps on the chassis. i still need to get the other tub finished before i can get some paint on the chassis Edited February 24, 2013 by Dragfreak
Nick Winter Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 Nice work so far everyone. I can do that, didn't notice, haven't had much time lately, been working 10 1/2 hour days and working on my 1:1 project on weekends. Nick

Dragfreak Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 started on building some headers for this thing and de-chromed the valve covers and got the mirrors on i almost forgot them
Lunajammer Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Since the "Cormaro" is a cut 70's funny car body, the front is, in real life, only a fiberglass facade to imply the look of a Camaro. The grill, lights & bumper are molded in and relatively flat. I didn't think I could make it look real so I exaggerated it by extending the grill opening and drilling out the fake headlights... Buckets from the Revell '53 Chevy fill the holes and contribute to the extruded look of the front end. Almost looks like a fish face saying, "OMG we're gonna win!"
