I got this kit for X-mas from my grandma. I started on it today. It is a huge kit. The engine is the size of my hand. Here is a picture of the body next to my shoe. (SIze 13 US)

that paint should shine real nice once polished out

Haha Nope! Size 13 man. Thanks. I hope it does shine. I had some problems with paint run today but when I sanded it and repainted it it was good. It just needs cleared.
