Brad, This is looking great! Back in the '80's I knew a guy who had an '86 CJ-7 that had the exact same lift. I can't wait to see this one all painted.

Sorry...no more progress on this at the time. I WILL get back to it once my bench gets cleared of a couple of other builds.

Brad I love the build so far but I think you are going to need a bigger motor with more horse power

Brad cant wait to see some progress on your Jeep. I am just about done with a project..trying to get it in under the 2013 time frame...and then I will get back to my jeep build. I need to get it re painted before I can keep going with it. Your wheels are killer!

Thanks for your interest Dave. I did get a bit of work done on it but not much. Holidays are a really busy time and I was hoping to get more bench time in than I did.

Seriously impressive work on this. I especially like your take on the wire and insulation u-joints. Creative and well executed. I'll have to give that a try sometime.

Thanks Clint. I've gotten side-tracked again and bumped another build in front of this one. I ran into an issue with the angle of one of the drive shafts and it seems that every time I get going on this build, I run into another set back. Currently focusing my efforts on my '59 Chevy African Scout truck.
