TooOld Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 (edited) Just a little something I've been working on in my spare time . It's an old Tom Daniel Snap Kit that got a complete make over ! And before anyone asks , John Deere did make bulldozers out of their tractors and called them " Crawlers " . Edited February 26, 2020 by TooOld
gtx6970 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 That is just to cool. A good friend of mine is a diehard Mopar AND a diehard John Deere guy would just die over this one
TooOld Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 Cool , Wild , and Cute . . . Quite a range of descriptions for a model ! Thanks James , Randy , Edward , and Bill !

AzTom It started as a Tom Daniel " Boss Bulldozer " snap kit I found on ebay . It's from 1972 and as far as I know it's never been reissued . When I got it there were a few pieces missing and broken . I made those and added Hemi cylinder heads and valve covers from my parts box . Here's what it looked like when I got it . AzTom Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Thanks Bob. I have never seen that kit before. I have a John Deere 430 on the bench that is going to get a V-8, maybe a Hemi.
JasonFL Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Bob, that is one wild dozer! Think its cool how you made it into a John Deere "Crawler". Well done
TooOld Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 Those are just too cool!! Thanks Derick !

Ridge Rider Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Nice job, I was never to impressed with the model in stock form but it looks fantastic with your improvements. Oh and it does look like pure fun--thanks for posting. Clancy
