Looking very nice. If only it were SHINY :) :) :) . Are those the kit tires? I have 2 of the kits and the tires are blackwalls even though the box says tampo printed whitewalls.

You can request the new tampo printed tires from Revell. And Andy I love where this one is going. Thanks for the brainstorm. ;)

started to foil the upper beltline and window trim, decided I didnt like it and peeled it off.

if it was a 1:1 car I could paint the trim black, so thats what it will be here too.

I'm pretty meticulous about keeping it clean in there. Have a few hobbies so it can get outta control quickly. It's a little messy for me at the moment if you would believe that. I find I spend more time organizing than building sometimes, however that lets me focus on my builds when I get going.

This thing is sick. I like the stance, and white interior. Great engine detail, its almost a shame to cover it with the big dual quad air cleaner. Still way cool regardless.

thanks for the kind words, I'm still not 100% sure on that air cleaner, but I kinda like it for the options I have here.

Since we brought it up, I thought it would be fun to share my workshop. It is a mess right now, Its in desperate need of a re organization.

Well I gave the window trim and beltline trim another shot, dcided I liked it this time. threw the windows in, and while they were drying I started assembly on the interior.

front window wont let the body rest in place and is hitting the dash

*edit, got it fixed I think by shaving the dash. That was a little tedious since it was assembled and painted.

Good to know about the dash! Do you have a pic of how much you shaved off it?

Yeah, my modeling hobby kinda crashed into my RC hobby, and I've built quite a few scale RC crawlers or trail rigs.

LOL,I feel ya! I raced nitros back in the late 90's,started getting back into RC a month ago, have the 2 crawlers (I run em on mtn bike trails mostly),a pair of budget offroaders for the pair of kids (ECX Boost buggy and Torment SCT) and I've just started racing again, electric SCT (Short Course Trucks for those that don't know) with a pair of Team Associated SC10's,a 4wd and 2wd....EASY to get hooked on the hobby (especially around tax refund season :P

That's all the hijacking I'll do,though, looking forward to seeing more of the Olds :D

Had to shave most of the lip off the front, and I raised the windshield as high as I could, I'm sure I had to do something wrong, I haven't seen anyone else have issue?

Hi Andy, You've got this one looking awesome with that paint job!! The foiling is outstanding, glad you decided to do that.
