A Fotki "D'oh"

I just now this morning figured out the Fotki "friend request" thing. D'oh. Hey Doc, I wasn't ignoring you, I was just ignorant. Hey thats funny, ignorant and ignoring. OK, time to put the Smirnoff down.

Please excuse my ignorance, but would Fotki or Photobucket be "better" for displaying pictures, and would I be able to publish a link form either in the forum for others to use? Thanks in advance for your help.

I prefer photobucket. It gives each picture four link styles. Img, e-mail & im, HTML and direct links.

I like Fotki, pics load faster and I prefer their format.

Glenn has a good point. I would suggest opening a page in both and see which format you prefer. They are both hosting sites but may have different features making one appeal to you more. Load up a few pics on both and use them for a couple weeks. Like a test drive.

Fotki wants me to pay for codes that allow posting in forums. Photobucket doesn't and is very easy to use. Otherwise, they're pretty similar.
