novadose71 Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Lindberg Little Red Wagon (Dodge A-100) built stock, added gas filler tube with no gas cap, parts box rear tires, toolbox, gas can, portable radio(from Scale Equipment) on doghouse, and a couple figures (not attached). Duplicolor Lacquer without clear for a dull look. Built for a club diorama, I planned to weather it and scratchbuild a topper & add a lawnmower, but I ran out of time. I still want to sometime in the future. Have a wonderful day.
cruz Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 That is very cool man, like the colors too..........
Ken Kitchen Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Hey, here's how that one winds up. LOL. I built this years ago in similar colors to yours. This was an early attempt at weathering. I don't know whether to redo it with what I learned or keep it. Nice looking model by the way. Where'd you get the figures?
dub Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Looks great, even without weathering! I especially like the portable radio on the dog house!
novadose71 Posted September 18, 2007 Author Posted September 18, 2007 I would keep the weathered one,it's really cool, or send it to me and I'll hitch it up to mine. The figures came with die cast cars. The driver is Bob Falfa,he came with his 55 Chevy, and the passenger is one of the two figures that came in a 62? Corvette, from the old Route 66 TV show.
Mike Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 That's just a great build, with as many stories as you can come up with for the characters. Nicely done.
Albert Moore Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Wow, that is one cool looking pick-up truck! I like the two-tone finish, it has that right 'look'. Cheers, Albert
1320wayne Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 That's probably one of the cleanest looking stock builds I've ever seen out of that kit. Great job!
bsoder Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Well all I can say is..HOW cool is that!!! great job
