Finally got some build time in.The block is painted.I started to run the plug wires.

Yesterday I finished up the wires. I started to put the fan belt system together.

This is a great build and I like the direction you are going with this. I think the engine would of looked awesome matching the body look. I know I am a little late saying this but I really love the inspiration pic you posted in your first post of this thread. Sweet ride.

Test fitted the body and hood to check the clearence of the Hilborn.

All goood.No chopping the hood to make it fit.

Very nice work. How did you mask the wheels to paint the centers?

Not sure how he did it but I have used liquid masking material to paint wheel centers in the past. You can also use Elmer's White glue as a masking agent. Liquid mask can be found at a decent hobby shop or online, and a bottle should last you awhile.
