shucky Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 (edited) This was a great slump buster! I cant explain how much fun this was to build! 1/32 Revell Snap Tite turned into a Gasser using 1/24-1/25 scale parts. Front drag rims are slot car items, rears are vintage 5 slots cast in gun metal. Scratch built Hilborn injection, vintage AMT wide slicks smoothed (also cast in resin), resin blower cast in gun metal, scratch built cogged pulley cast in resin, cogged belt, scratch built straight axle, springs, perches, and poseable steering. I will be doing more of these as fill in's while I work on other projects. Some of the build photos car be found here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68493 Edited February 24, 2013 by shucky
