Alan Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 (edited) Here is a build a good friend of mine, Doug Estabrook did of this sweet 66 wagon, I did the decals as well as resin cast my mastered front Cragar Super Tricks Edited February 27, 2013 by Alan
John Pol Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Real nice job love those front rims. Do you do custom decals to? John Pol
Alan Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 Thanks John, Those decals were actually custom done for Doug and myself, but I decided to put them on the site ....... Just poured a bunch of latex over a ton of new masters. Just cast for myself and a couple of close friends.
John Pol Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Bummer what other things do you cast if you don`t mind me asking. Looking for someone to do decals for the Rod Shop Angile. John Pol
Mooneyzs Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Alan...this is an awesome build and I really like how it turned out. Nice Job!
W-409 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Very nice Chevelle Wagon! There can Never be enough Stockers or Super Stockers... This one looks really good to me, paint and overall finishing is incredible. Who makes this Resin body by the way? I'd like to build something like this '66 Chevy Stocker what was running P/SA here in Finland before it was sold to Sweden.
ChevyCoupe41 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Very Nice Chevelle! Is that Chevelle made by Revell? Maybe I have to do this kind of build in future too.
W-409 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Very Nice Chevelle! Is that Chevelle made by Revell? Maybe I have to do this kind of build in future too. Oh, yes of course Revell makes '66 Chevelle kit. How didn't I remember that? Nice build anyway!
57peppershaker Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Nice build Alan, about to start a street / strip wagon. What rear slicks did you use ?
Alan Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 Not my build but Doug Estabrook's but it has my decals and resin cast wheels ......
Mister Twister Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 That definitely is a great replica of a 70's/80's NHRA class car right down to the valve stems....Nice job!
dragcarz Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 This has to be one of my favorite builds, that I've seen since joining the forum.Would love to have a few sets of those Cragar wheels myself.. Great Build
