I start by painting the body color what ever that may be.Then with a dry brush and dab on folkart/ appel barrel acrylic paints .Starting with burnt umber it is put on thick the more you dab it the more testure you get then dry brush lighty terra cotta and then lighty with teddybear tan, this will give a dusty look .then ad highlights with pueblo, chocolate bar ,It sounds hard but it is not the paints are water base so mistake ,s are easy to fix ,clean up is no problem .and thepaint drys very fast .I keep paper towels next to me to rub the paints on to keep it dry works great , the burnt unber is dry brushed on every color is .some times I use flat black under the burnt unber to give it a darker shade .it is about shades of colors rust that is .
