STP Turbine

This is a SMTS Lotus Turbine kit of the car that Graham Hill qualified 2nd at the 68 Indy 500. I built this car in 1997.

Well done and kept out of the sun. For a twenty year old build the red STP paint has held up quite well. Kudos!

Nice job Mark and this one is on my bucket list. Did you do the little Wheel Horse tractor that came with it? I was at the race in '68 and remember the little tractors pulling the Indy cars around. I eventually got one and it said 500 special on the hood. I was 17 years old at the time. Thanks for the memories.

Nice job Mark! Might want to mention it's 1/43rd. A couple of the guys are mistaking it for 1/24th scale, which is pretty high praise in it's own right! Again, very well done.

Chris! Yea I noticed that I put SMTS but I should have mentioned it was 1/43 too. Thanks for looking at the model and the kind words.
