SteelyEd Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Just finished this one, It a Revell kit built box stock except for plug wires. The back bumper looks a little crocked in the pictures, but it's not.
niteowl7710 Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 The bumper may not be crooked, but the body isn't sitting "square", it's clearly lower on the passenger's side than it is on the driver's. Jiggle the handle so to speak and it'd lose that listing lazily to the right stance. I like the color, and nice job on the woody body!
cobraman Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Body does seem to list a little. Maybe one of the tires needs air. : ) It does look very nice.
Mike 1017 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Love the color combo.Maybe the passenger should lose weight !!!!
SteelyEd Posted March 30, 2013 Author Posted March 30, 2013 Thanks Guys! I checked it out and it is listing, I'll try to resolve the problem. When I first saw the pictures, I thought it was just my old eyes. Thanks again!
Guest Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Very nice clean build. How did you do the woodgrain, and what color did you use for the red?
crazyrichard Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 nice ! looks great and i love this kit still want to buy this one myself
SteelyEd Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 Thanks Guys! The wood grain is the kit decals, just put a light wash on them to make it look more like the real Mahogany I used on the boat. The red is a 50:50 mix of Testors Ruby Red and Red Metallic.
