Finally took the plunge and bought a decent airbrush! Don't know why I waited so long, I've owned cheap airbrushes before and always got cheap results. Gave up on most of them and went with spray can paint jobs, but got tired of that. I am extremely happy with the badger, it is very easy to use and clean up seems to be a no brainer. I am hoping to spray some alclad chrome next week on a monster truck I am finishing up, like the good airbrush I have never tried that before. Hopefully I will get good results. At 54 years old you can teach an old dog new tricks!!

Badger makes a great airbrush, I've owned my model 200 for almost 35yrs and just had it rebuilt by Badger free of charge. How many companies back their product like that?

I started with a 200, went to the 155 3 years back...Great move.

I've owned a 155 since they first came out with it. I have other a/b's, but it's always the one I reach for when I need one I know is going to work. Makes a great workhorse a/b.

I've got a 155, one of the first serious airbrushes I got. The only problem that I've had with it was the teflon bearing wore out from nearly constant use, Badger replaced it for free no questions asked. It's a good little workhorse, it will do most everything you want it to do for modeling. Most important thing for you to do is learn how to clean and maintain it, how to diagnose when it has issues and how to dial in to make it work right. That said, get some spoons or better yet old model bodies and get to practicing.

My second AirBrush, a Badger 155, introduced me to better AirBrushes.

I tell people all the time, You do not have to start at the bottom with AirBrushes, an Anthem 155 costs only a few bucks more than generic or single action AirBrushes and blows them away.
