Eric N. Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Looks good so far. Now finish her up! Alclad looks really good. Eric
slusher Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Nice foil work, shows up good on that color. Keep up the good work...
mrmike Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 Thanks Eric, Carl, and Bob! Now that my Hurst/Olds is done, I can get back to the GTX.
mrmike Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 I got the dash foiled and detailed this morning. A mockup with the chassis, engine, and interior. I still haven't finished the Hemi yet. I'll get back to the Hemi when I have finished the interior which needs the seats foiled, the tach detailed and installed on the console, and the bucket seats installed into the interior. More to come...
mrmike Posted May 25, 2013 Author Posted May 25, 2013 Thanks Dan! I finished the interior this morning. I mounted the tach on top of the dash instead of on the console. This was a simple little detail that I made by adding a line from the back of the tach and ran it through the speaker grille. Now it's back to finishing the Hemi! More to come...
mrmike Posted May 26, 2013 Author Posted May 26, 2013 Save for some touchups and decals, the Hemi is done. More to come...
Erik Smith Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Looking very nice. I really like that color with the chrome trim - very attractive.
GoatGuy Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Looks great. I really like the color, but it all looks really good.
mrmike Posted May 26, 2013 Author Posted May 26, 2013 Thanks Erik and Dave! With some luck and a little time, I might be able to finish the GTX tomorrow.
charlie8575 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 That's a nice job, Mike. As pointed out earlier, it's actually a very nice combination of old and new-style Mopar. Charlie Larkin
mrmike Posted May 31, 2013 Author Posted May 31, 2013 Thank you guys! My '67 Hemi GTX is done and posted in Under Glass. I actually enjoyed building this Mopar! This Revell kit was a joy to build and everything just went together like it should. I would like to thank all those who took the time to view and to comment on my WIP.
