Still fighting me. Having issues with the glass. What a mess. But I saved most of it.  Trying to cut the side windows out with it glued in.  Trying not to break anything.

Who makes the blazing black paint? Is it spray can or airbrush?

Hi. The  paint is spray can. Testors one coat.  I also have 76 caprice. In under glass somewhere with the same paint.

Decided to keep the side glass in.  Scared I'm going to mess it up. Here's how she sits now

Thanks for looking.

Thanks.  I glued the front bumper on. But the realized I have to assemble it after i marry the chassis to the body.  Bumper came off ok.  Phew lesson learned.

That is looking great!!  Black and red in that

combo always looks good to me.

I have a Fujimi kit of the 911 turbo, but I wish

it was that version. Those cleaner lines just look

right to me.

   Very nice job on this!

that stance looks dead on to me .. especially in the low shots

thanks. Lots of trial and error.  I think it took 4 times to get the right stance. Ect. I know what to do now the next time I build this kit.

Care to share what it took to fix as I have a few of the Fujimi Porsche Enthusiast kits...

I pasted this reply I got from another forum

Since the rear end is independent suspension you have to shorten the torque tube connecting the two trailing arms.

On my model ,I sectioned 5/16" out of the center of the torque tube then drilled and pinned it back together using some medium wire.

Trial fit the suspension with trailing arms and wheels mounted to see just how much you have to narrow the tube to make it look right.

After the tube is narrowed you will find that it might contact the frame so alittle cutting and sanding of the frame might be needed.

Lastly you need to shorten the shocks , do this on the top of the shock where it fits in the shock tower and nothing will be visible.

I did not mount that beautiful engine in the car so If you plan to do so you will need to shorten the axel shafts.

Check out my post "73 911 Carrera" in this same sports car forum for some pics.

this is the proper way.

I cut cut the shocks and removed the rear wheel spacers.

Lots of trial and error.

First phase of decals done.  Next to do is cut decal from panel lines and then I think she is done.
