High octane
Welcome Mark and that is a great kit as I"ve built three of them already and have another one started. I sent the front end and oil pan to the platers to have them chromed and it looks really good on that model. Nice color choice on your build. Chickenfoot
It's been a little while, Here's an update. I didn't like the paint job so I sanded it down and reshot it. Finished the interior and the chassis, added the decals and shot the clear coat. Need to wait a couple days for it to dry then polish, add the lights and grill and it's complete. Had alot of fun building this, looks like my next project will be the Protar Yamaha Tenere Paris-Dakar Motorcycle. That's going to be a challenge... Thanks for watching, Mark

OldTimer50707
Yours looks like a nice clean build. The color is great and the wiring on the engine adds to it. I use Draino Gel to dechrome parts. I usually have to let it set for 24 hours but when I'm done, I pour it down the drain so I get 2 uses out of it. Like with any chemical you need to wear a mask and rubber gloves. PappyD340
Welcome to the forum Mark great looking build. Easy off is the ticket for me and it will strip paint extremly well also, bot like Lee said gloves and a mask are a must!!
Ognib
Nice. I built a willys gasser when I was 12 or 13...back in late 50's early 60's. Up until a couple of years ago, my mom still had it in her memory chest. A popular car to build, it would seem, to have stayed in production for so long.
