JasonC
Finished this one up today. I took and changed the ol' 305TPI out for a 350LT1 from some Ed Roth kit i had years ago. The detail for the engine bay on this model is something to be desired with everything molded in. The color is GM Dark Cherry met from Duplicolor. It's pretty much box stock but the engine/trans, and flocking and i made the exhaust. I forgot to take a picture of the underside when i had it out. So i just have one when i was working on it. Most of the pictures are cell phone, so quality may not be up there...

lillakev
OK, we see the pictures of your real car. Now where's the model?
Blown03SVT
That looks pretty good. I used to be big into 3rd Gen F-bodies and an LT1 was a common swap before the LS engines became so plentiful. Thank for the memories

tomsheehy
Great model, but your photos are terrific. Tell us about your "pavement" base. It makes the scene look so real.
JasonC
Great model, but your photos are terrific. Tell us about your "pavement" base. It makes the scene look so real. It's an 1/8" piece of ceiling material for a travel trailer (i worked for Fleetwood Travel Trailer). I painted it with gray primer, then light coat of flat black. I used a yellow paint marker for the lines. The grass I painted brown then some green. I then put model railroad grass over it. I've had it for many years, that's where the weathered look is coming from. It sitting around and getting dirty and beat up.
