250 Testa Rossa Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Hi guys. I have an MFH Ferrari 250 GTO, and I think the fuel lines in the kit are inaccurate. Are there any other suggestions to creating those bright yellow fuel lines? Thanks

Exotics_Builder Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 (edited) Look for piano wire in the right diameter and then paint. Certain piano wire has that ribbing. Ribbed piano wire can also be used for electrnic harnesses in modern cars like the Ferrari California, etc. I need to check on Pro-Tech braided fuel line to see how close it is. Will get back on that one. Edited May 7, 2013 by Exotics_Builder
250 Testa Rossa Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 You mean the wire wrapped yellow lines ? What do the kit parts look like ?? Yep, those are the fuel lines. The kit parts are white metal lines, and are much smaller.

Had pianos on the brain since they were talking about the costs of fiing the church's piano (for some reason the choir director sees a need for both a piano and an organ) If you want some photos of guitar string I can do that.
250 Testa Rossa Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 I'm thinking about the ProTech stuff, but I've tried guitar string, but it's a pain in the butt to bend it.
