FIREMODELMAN Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Well , here she is. A VERY basic build. Almost box stock, I did add some cabinet's to the interior, and changed up the wheels and tires adding some from the parts box, and of course the emergency lights. Thanks for looking, Dave.
Harry P. Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I don't think they'd have the superwide tires sticking out beyond the wheelwells like that on a real one... but otherwise the model looks good. I like the thin gold stripe separating the red and white areas.
FIREMODELMAN Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 Yea, your right Harry, but it looks cool . Thanks.
Jeff B Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I agree with Harry on the wheels/tires, but GREAT attention detail and the gold striping looks authentic. That windshield and glass is crazy clean- did you dip it in Future? Thanks for posting.

Danno Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Nice. Good job on the striping and that Panek lightbar looks great!
FIREMODELMAN Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 Nice. Good job on the striping and that Panek lightbar looks great! Thanks Danno, but it's not a Dave Panek light bar. It comes out of the YODEL NYPD model. For me I think its a little to large for 1/24, so I sanded the bottom off of the lens's, about an 1/8 inch, then made the internals myself.

You're right ~ it is just a hair large, but you made it look good. Did you do the reflectors yourself? They look great!

bsoder Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Hey Dave haven't seen any of your builds in a while...looks fantastic
