futurattraction Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I could very easily be convinced to vote for #5 now... LOL I like that paint layout the best even if you changed up on the colors.
Jimmy Wilson Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 That looks really great, and I agree the 4 cylinder is way cool ! Jimmy
Mooneyzs Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I could very easily be convinced to vote for #5 now... LOL I like that paint layout the best even if you changed up on the colors. I have to agree with this. The more I look at the different designs the more I like #5. I am digging it.
futurattraction Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 (edited) I always thought Mustang IIs made cool looking race cars, especially when they're as low-slung as yours is. I think this is shaping up to be a really outstanding build, since stance is so much a part of the overall look - and you'totally nailed that aspect of it... Lookin' forward to more updates. tubbs Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 looking great!! killer all the way around......... although ........... i am a big supporter of cubic inches, and thats what makes this a great build, i would be putting a big ol shotgun in there. never would cross my mind to do it this way.... KUDOS !!! and paint scheme # 1 is out, terrible, who would ever use a paint scheme like that...... me, NEVER ....... (insert evil laugh here)
1320wayne Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Progress looks great Danny. My thoughts were also a toss up between #1 and #5. Both look the best out of all your options.
Mooneyzs Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I also got to say this.... I love #5 because of how the white follows the body lines of the car.
futurattraction Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I like the scalloped inset where the paint wraps around it, and I also like the blue and red that runs along the entire top of the car and extends back into the spill plate.
Davewilly Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I like #5 followed by #1 I think both work pretty well
am73grand Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 This is coming along VERY nicely. I am enjoying watching it come together!
Mooneyzs Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Danny....the turbo looks great. Have you figured out what paint scheme you are going with?
futurattraction Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I really like the direction you're taking this, Danny. Keep the updates coming!
3men2s Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 Danny....the turbo looks great. Have you figured out what paint scheme you are going with? I think with #5 ..the white is going to be silver with the MALCO logo in recognition of Ohio Gorge's 4 cilinder/turbo pinto.......but my head still not calm yet yesterday I was even thinking on going flat military colors and calling it BOBBA FETT
3men2s Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 (edited) Where is the engine sourced from ? mustang gtp from monogram. but you need to make the headers and get a turbo. Edited May 30, 2013 by 3men2s

I have to tell you when I was originally looking at #5 it crossed my mind of what it would look like with silver where the white was and even making that section look like metal panels with rivets. Going with flat military colors would be cool too. That hood is looking great. I love the reverse scoop you have added for the air intake,
dragcarz Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I'm loving it Danny thanks for sharing the build with us!
crowe-t Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Danny, This is looking real nice! I love the stance. Mike.
