Davewilly Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Also...I had the 1:1 air cleaner on my 70 Monte Carlo...Cool air cleaner...You have to give us the guys name when you remember it. I need a couple of them!
signguy2108 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Beautiful car! Makes me want to rethink my hemi dart build.
vintagedragfan Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 this is a beautiful car I have seen it! Eric I'm a Mopar guy but it sure is hard to tell by the pics they aren't the right valve covers!! love it!
JasonC Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Very NICE! The wheels are kind of uhhh.... But thats personal choice. You said the valve covers are wrong, they did make them for big blocks too. Also since you're trying to test Mopar guys eyes, i'll raise you one and say the PVC valve is located in the wrong spot for these valve covers and the intake sits to low
Harry P. Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Wow! Beautifully doe, great detail, and very sharp and clean. And it has mirrors! Yay! The only thing I'm not too big on is the giant wheels, but that's just personal opinion. A very cool model, excellent craftsmanship.

Eric N. Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 And that's why I build modified cars. More fun...Freedom do do what you want...No rules. And Thanks for all the comments. Eric
JasonC Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 PCV location depends on year. 1968- 1969 Big blocks are on the pass side and towards the rear of the engine But on the cast Mopar Performance valve covers, the location for the PCV is on the right side where the left is for the twist on cap. thus putting it in the wrong spot. He said he wanted to test our eyes, did he not. And actually with the blurriness and angles of the pictures one could be hard pressed to see if they where BB or SB covers.
RatRod Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I was expecting another half primered bad to the bone asphalt scorchin' Hemi powered Dart, but NO.......I see one beautiful asphalt scorchin' BB beauty!!! Fantastic build!!!
