Building headers

I've seen a few people building headers, and I've searched around for a tutorial. A few questions

How in the world do you keep them together?

How do you build the flange?

Maybe some others, I just can't think of anything else.

In the future, try a different search technique. Don't bother with the search function here. Instead, go to Google in a separate browser window, type in "site:modelcarsmag.com", a space, and the topic you're looking for.

I build my headers out of styrene rod. So,they glue together easily.

Roger, that's what I need to do. This solder and armature wire works but can't keep it together.
