Starting on this as well, AMT's Show Room Replica series kit, and the new 2013 Camaro
Body out of the box


and a mock up with the body parts on


And the piece that is supposed to be the chassis

And body in primer and mold lines removed

And for Danno, nope, its not a rice cooker, its American, and a Chevy

Nah!, no bumping of the head is needed , I do like building American stuff, although it may seem like I dont at times

Chassis in black paint, and thats it for the detailing, I still need to paint the exhaust pipes and get them installed

and the interior

now on to the body color, after several flips of the coin online, I decided to go with a bright color, so I used MM lacquer Hemi orange over white primer

stripped the chrome from the wheels, and painted them with Tamiya Gunmetal

and the body after a few coats of Future

black trim done

chassis done, including brake rotors and exhaust

So are you saying that a few coats of future hid the thick black panel lines from the top pic, or was there something else done before the future was applied?
