I really could use a hood, the one that belongs to this one is in pieces...rear bumper also

I'm going to update interior, and I'm going to chop down the windshield frame a little, it looks out of proportion

Is that the chassis from the AMT 66 Pro street Nova?

Yes it is, it fit considerably well. Just a little trimming here and there...

Eric- if you are going to carve up or discard that interior bucket, I have same kit (that is an old AMT isn't it?) that has an interior with a distorted patern on the seats. It's as if it reacted to paint or something. I could sorely use a clean interior! I'd swap mine for yours and add to it to make it worth your while!

Void above post- Just realized you are working with a Trumpeter body.. was thrown off due to the reuse / blotchy toning on your body! If anyone does have an extra AMT interior tub, let me know!

Eric, I love it when those parts box ideas come together, looking real good so far, any ideas on color? :D

Larry, I'm thinking Bronzish gold color

Very nice!! I am doing a similar build, but with an original AMT '63, and as a GM Skunkworks car from '62-3, so it will have narrow (relatively) wheels and tires. You may be able to get a resin hood for that Trumpeter body.

I do not need a hood, I reuilt the 2 piece hood and added a cowl scoop from a 69 z28

smoothed out the underside...It came out much Better then I thought! This hood was a mess!

These Trumpeter Nova's have an oversized windshield, I chopped it down a little, should look sleek when done!

Top was way too wide and long, trimming up the center and front, looking pretty good with the chopped windshield

also fitted front suspension and wheels and tires
