Wonderbread Kustomz Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I swear I thought I posted this. Guess I didn't. Anyways, the better half got me this last month so I wanted to tear into it.... Lately I been working on other projects and getting sidetracked. This came to me the day I got the kit. I used to hang out at Ocean Beach in San Diego, which in my opinion is like a real laid back area with alot of surfers and left hand smokers.... Anyways , I used to see a lot of old rides over there, so I thought this would be something a younger surfer/party guy would own to cruise around in and take to the beach. Here's what all I have done so far. I removed some trim, and added cancer spots in a couple areas... I'll let the pics speak for themselves...
Ramfins59 Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 That's a nice old beater you've got going there James.

Body is weathered and done, and working on the interior now... Should have the interior done today and then I'll finish working on the flathead that came with the kit... Lanny Haas Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 for the shape the bodys is, the wood looks pretty good. needs some cracked and missing wood, maybe a dent ot two, maybe some tears in the roof... or just leave it alone. its a fine line your walking dont want to go TOO far, than its hard to get it back.. looks good, I like it.....
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted May 21, 2014 Author Posted May 21, 2014 Thanks guys... Yea, I'm gonna keep the wood as is... I tried to tone it down when I first started it by using acrylics with a sponge to sort of age it a bit...
