IHSS Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Heres my 63. Since Iv'e had these wrinckle wall slicks I used the lowrider hydrolics suspension to give a hard launching look. Then added the 409 from a 60 Impala kit that I wired and plumbed. Thanks for looking Jeff
JunkPile Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Nice job. Picture #3 captures the moment well. I can almost smell the rubber and race fuel
IHSS Posted June 21, 2013 Author Posted June 21, 2013 LOL I thought of that as I was building it Harry, but I have no drivers to add so I just said the h*** with it and went for it. Thanks Chuck thats my favorite pic of it to. Just wish I had some road to put it on to make it look the part a little more.
PappyD340 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Well driver or no driver it's still a fantastic build, I like the torqued look!! great job Jeffery.
Alan Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Ah, the Steve Magnante school of model building, I like it, looks good !
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I have a soft spot for 409s and hard-launching stockers. Nice feel to this build. I like it.
W-409 Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Nice job with the Chevy, and you did a perfect engine choice! Great job with the engine detail and I like the look of that car, too. Just like those old Stockers. Great work, kinda reminds me of this.
