it would be nice to have an accurate 77 Trans Am kit in 1:25. since they seem to be converting alot of stuff to diecast I hope this one will be done next

but did they not have a 77 trans am 3 in 1 kit (stock, custom, drag)? I have that kit, and it goes together well and looks very nice . if they do not still have the 3 in 1 kit in the current line up, i wouldn't see why they would not re issue it as plastic.

Thats kits a 78. and 1:24. this one is 1:25. this is a much nicer kit. Revell already has a 1:24 70 Challenger in there regular line. and they just announced a 1:25 70 Challenger kit based of a diecast kit

The old Monogram one that's been reissued doesn't look as good as the diecast version, plus it's 1/24. All the diecast version needs is a plastic body and it will be the best 2nd generation stock T/A kit ever done. It blows away the AMT/MPC kits and it looks more accurate than the old Monogram 1/24 stuff. Terry is right, it's a seriously nice kit that most people have no idea how good it is merely because it came out first as diecast.

I'd like to see a plastic kit version from it, preferably without the t-tops.

Given how many of Revell's diecast kits have been converted to plastic kits lately, it could happen..the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon would be nice also.

Another great kit to convert would be their excellent '62 Corvette from the Route 66 series. Completely blows away the AMT kit. Would be great as an unassembled plastic kit (I have the diecast kit but some parts are already glued to the body  )
