James2 Posted August 18, 2013 Author Posted August 18, 2013 Just a test fit with base coat and some chassis work done. Thanks for looking...
Dragfreak Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Really nice job and the paint looks great but IMO that hood scoop looks ugly.
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 That looks killer! Man the paint came out great!
Davewilly Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Nice Paint job...and the shade of blue looks great on it.!
Tompidom Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 The color looks great. And it has a nice and mean look with the stance like this!
James2 Posted August 25, 2013 Author Posted August 25, 2013 I have been pretty busy this week, but did find time to get something done. In keeping with the Grand Sport theme I added the red stripes and also clear coated the body. I'll polish this up some and leave it sit while I work on the interior. And as always thanks for looking...
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 That's got some nice shine to it! Awesome work bro
prostreeter69 Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 You got one sweet looking Nova on your hands.Jon
gman Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Nice looking blue. What kind of paint did you use?
slusher Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 James did yoy make the hood or buy it after market....??
James2 Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 The paint is TS-19 Tamiya. The hood I made by cutting the scoop from a Corvette hood and molding it on the Nova hood. Thank you for the interest.
ScrappyJ Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Very nice work. Nice and clean. What kit did you get the intake from?
James2 Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 Thanks for the comments. The intake and carbs are from the Revell 67 Corvette conv. kit #85-4087.
