Steve Prideaux Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 (edited) This is a model of the remake, of John Batto's Crosley, from California. It is a Fremont Resin body, with a Revell funnycar chassis, shortened. With a small block chevy. Thanks . Steve Prideaux Comments are always welcome. Edited August 4, 2013 by Steve Prideaux
Bernard Kron Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Nicely done rendition of an iconic car. I'll have to keep my eye out for the Fremont Resin body. In contrast to the currently available Altered Sates piece. it's unchopped, which is what gives the Batto car its signature look. Thanx for sharing!
cobraman Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I always thought that was a cool car. Your build looks great ! Nice work.
Daddyfink Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Very cool build! That car is fun to watch at the digs!
Jimmy Wilson Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Great job ! That's always been one of my favorite cars.
Burnout Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Nice model of one of the most unique dragsters of all time. I've got a promo poster of the same car hanging in my workshop.
Truck parts Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 I like what you have done, and a cool color also,
Dyno Davo Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Great replica build, nice to see "out of the groove" cars
Steve Prideaux Posted August 13, 2013 Author Posted August 13, 2013 Thank you all for the kind comments. I really appreciate them. I found this Pennzoil ad, from a 1960"s Hot Rod magazine, of this car, when it ran a blown Buick. 10.40's at 140 mph. Thanks again for the comments. Steve Prideaux
