Jantrix Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 (edited) You can still close (lock) the thread. That usually lets folks know you are no longer in need of parts. Edited August 7, 2013 by Jantrix

southpier Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 too bad (for me). i am embarassed that i participated in what i thought was a jocular thread recently. it turned into a real pigpile and finally someone had the good sense to lock it. all i was able to do was remove my (unquoted) comments. guess that's how it goes sometimes ......
raildogg Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 I'd like to delete some of my posts, the ones I have had answered and are no longer relevant, how do I do that. Shouldn't we have a FAQ topic for just these types of questions?

Shouldn't we have a FAQ topic for just these types of questions? They might be relevant to someone else though looking for info like you once was for something.
sjordan2 Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 In any case, somewhere along the way you will find a Topic Moderation button at bottom left. Click on that and you can lock the thread.
Guest Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Lock it and it will eventually go down the pages. Click on your topic, scroll to the bottom of the page, click on topic moderation, lock and you're done. We used to be able to delete our own topics until the forum change.

Casey Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Richard, On every post you will see a greyish "<" symbol in the header bar, Click that symbol, then copy (control or command C) the link, then PM me the link, and I can delete the posts for you.
