Daddyfink
Well, they ran a Dart, a Challenger and a Demon. Do any of these match what you seek?
gtx6970
They ran a 1969 Dart funnycar, 1970 and 1971 Challenger , 1972 demon and I believe they also had a 1973 ish Dart bodied car PS, the 1970 and 1971 Challengers were 2 different cars, ( different grilles as well as different chassis designs ) Edited August 7, 2013 by gtx6970

tbusch
Sorry not the 66, but Elapsed Times magazine now on the shelves has a nice article on the restored 72 Demon, Restored to original so it cannot be raced only a cackle car
Daddyfink
http://www.allpar.com/racing/ramchargers/20-beginning-1966.html http://www.allpar.com/racing/ramchargers/21-more-1966.html And I think Car Craft did a Cut A Way on this car back then too
biscayne63
The Ramchargers ran a narrowed '67 Dart F/C, then they went just T/F till 1970.
Daddyfink
They ran a bit beyond 1970 with the Funny
biscayne63
Sorry, meant they didn't run a funny car after the '67 Dart till the '70 Challenger.
Big Daddy
Can anyone tell me the interior color for the 66 long nose dart i can't tell with the black and white photos, i think it is sort of a tan color but not sure
Daddyfink
The body was fiberglass and the interior was mostly aluminum panels. So, I would say it is bare fiberglass or white on the inside of the body with bare aluminum everything else.
Big Daddy
sorry about that i got 2 cars on the go and i got them mixed up i was reffering to the interior of the 65 guess i shoulda did 2 different posts
biscayne63
The '65 Coronet had the interior out of an A990 hemi sedan, which was goldish tan. Google search for pics of restored 1965 A990 Dodge Coronets or Plymouths Belvederes.

afxmustang
The August 1966 issues of Car Craft and Super Stock And Drag Illustrated had very good articles and pictures of the 1966 Dart. A book which has good photos and info on Chrysler drag cars is "Maximum Performance" Mopar Super Stock Drag Racing 1962-1969. Not very much on the AWB cars.
