Here is a photo of the first go around with the putty and sanding. Not too bad for only the first application but another couple of rounds will be needed to get it to where I want it. Then I will have to work on the chassis so I can determine where to put the holes for the engine and roll bar.

Made some headway on this thing. Body ready to be cut out for rollcage and engine. Then it will be on to paint. I need to finish the chassis so I know where to cut. I had to shorten the frame as well as move the front spindles back about a 1/4 of an inch or so.

Thanks guys. Should be shootin' some paint later today or tomorrow. I have not yet decided what color I will use but most likely whatever I have handy in the garage. Might be green, might be purple who knows ? : )

Ok, I shot some color. Not my favorite color really but I had a lot of it so......... Body was decaled but still needs to be cleared. Thanks for looking.

That is VERY cool... I remember many years ago seeing a sketch pad in Scale Auto of a '59 Chevy Elcamino being done in

a similar way. I like it!!!
