'58 Impala with a difference

Friends, are you sick and tired of building that same old AMT or Revell '58 Impala? Try building it this way:

Yep, it's a '58 Impala hardtop hearse. From a Florida Craigslist ad that's already been flagged for removal, but a fellow H.A.M.B. member saved the shots. The car may actually be in Sweden. I'm seeing it in turquoise with a load of surfboards...

That's pretty cool, I've never seen a 58 Impala hearse. I've only seen a Yoeman or Brookwood wagon.

Very cool. One would wonder why it has vent wing windows on the rear glass? To keep the recently deceased cool, or for aromatic reasons?

That thing just looks ominous sitting there. The mere fact that it has a luggage rack on top creeps me out for some unknown reason.

I am a little uneducated about Craig's List though. Why would this be "flagged for removal"? Is that Craig's List's way of saying it is sold or censorship or some kind?

I wonder if that's some sort of homemade one-off and not a "real" hearse. I doubt Impalas would have been used as a hearse. Not "dignified" enough.
