Bastardo Posted August 20, 2013 Share Posted August 20, 2013 I started work on this monster right after I finished my Impreza (which I still have to photo...). A classic Monogram's '70 Superbird. Got it about a month ago and couldn't wait to start working on it I've done a thing or two to it. My holidays are over so the progress is going to be much slower than on the Impreza. Here are a few shots of it: Content: Cleaned all the parts of flash and excess plastic: Glued the seats. Plenty of puttying and sanding to be done here... I think I'll add some more, but let's say this is at about 90% I also dechromed the parts using Cilit Bang: There, that's it for a start. But a bit of putty and some sanding can solve a lot I crashed the front end into a lamp post... All parts have been washed and soon they shall recieve some paint TBC! Dry-brush on the rims: Revell enamels and salt-chipping technique don't mix... I had problems removing the salt from the painted bumper... TBC!
